Conditions We Treat

Medica Stem Cells Clinics offer expertise in pain management. Knees and hips are the most common joints treated at our clinics. Regenerative treatment for knee pain and hip pain has become quite popular among athletes and older adults who suffer from severe joint pain. Unlike surgery, the recovery time after the Regenerative treatment is a lot shorter. Many of our patients choose Regenerative Medicine treatment for hip and knee pains to avoid lengthy rehabilitation time and hip replacement and knee replacement surgery complications.
Our focus is on the innovative technologies of Regenerative Medicine, including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Cellular therapies. At Medica Stem Cells, we strive to provide the best available Regenerative treatment for knees, hips, and other joint pains and conditions like osteoarthritis to help manage pain symptoms and promote the healing and regeneration process.
Regenerative treatments are available across all our clinics in Ireland, the UK, India, and the UAE.

How We Treat Your Conditions

Non-surgical Regenerative Therapy

Medica Stem Cells therapies are minimally invasive, non-surgical, safe alternatives to relieve pain with faster recovery than surgery

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy

Plasma concentrates are a way to help the body finish the healing process and strengthen the weakened tissue. The use of PRP, a portion.

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy, also called proliferation therapy is a non-surgical and injection-based treatment used in chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

About Us

Medica Stem Cells Clinic is a medical practice that specialises in providing comprehensive Regenerative Medicine treatments. Our team of well-trained and registered doctors and orthopaedic surgeons provide the best Regenerative treatments for joint injury, sports injury, managing symptoms of arthritis, osteoarthritis or any other degenerative condition of joints that cause discomfort. Regenerative therapy and PRP injections combined with physiotherapy support may provide more advanced results than Regenerative treatment alone.

To date, our Medical team have successfully performed more than 10,000 procedures using Regenerative Medicine and have treated these patients via injections only.
Choose the same day non-surgical Regenerative therapy and avoid surgery and all the complications associated with it. Regenerative cell therapy is a safe walk-in and walk-out procedure performed under local anaesthesia with a lot shorter post-operative recovery time than surgery.

Cell therapy uses cells harvested from your body to treat injury. These cells can develop into the same or many different cell types in the body, depending on whether they are multipotent or pluripotent. When a Regenerative cell divides, each “daughter” cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialised function, such as a muscle cell, a cartilage cell, or a skin cell. Acting as your own repair system, these cells can divide without limit to replenish other cells.

The best way to get started is to call our clinic between 9 AM to 6 PM or by requesting a callback, and one of our administrative team will get in touch with you to explain the steps of the treatment and will arrange a consultation to evaluate your condition with one of our specialist doctors.

The advantages of Regenerative treatment compared to surgery are:

  • No general anaesthetic – only local anaesthesia is used in Regenerative treatments.
  • Reduced downtime – much shorter recovery time compared to surgery.
  • Fewer risks involved – no risk of surgery complications such as reaction to general anaesthesia, shock, haemorrhage, cardiac arrest and others.
  • No wounds or scars as Regenerative treatment is injection-based.
  • 100% natural treatment, no risk of rejection as your own cells are used.

The Regenerative therapy procedure is performed in an outpatient setting and only takes up to two hours. No general anaesthesia is required, and most patients don’t need post-operative pain medication. After the procedure, patients typically return to work within a week or two and may resume physical activity much faster than after invasive surgery. Many patients report feeling marked improvement in their joint within one to three months.

For the procedure, PRP and cell concentrates are obtained from your body and prepared for injection. Once injected, cells follow inflammatory signals from damaged tissues and travel to the injured areas. These cells have multiple ways of repairing these damaged areas from inducing the production of natural anti-inflammatories which can assist with Osteoarthritis pain and swelling in the joint area to kick-starting the healing in injuries and stimulating regeneration. The anti-inflammatory effect lasts from 2-3 months. From there, you can see continued gradual improvement as the cells help provide healing to the affected area. However, you should not expect to see the full effect of the treatment earlier than six months, especially in the case of joint interventions. Variables like the type of disease or condition, age, lifestyle, comorbidities, general health and other factors also affect the outcome and length of recovery.
